Personalized Practice Approach
Tana Landau puts a strong emphasis on personalized service for her clients with a hands-on approach to practicing family law. Tana is the rare attorney who would rather have a face-to-face meeting with her clients than have a phone call. She would prefer to have a phone conversation to an email or a text. Tana’s experience in practicing family law has shown her that clients get the best outcome when they feel they are truly being heard.
Lifelong Learner
Tana is an avid student of life. In addition to her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University where she graduated with honors. She also attended graduate programs in experimental psychology, biology and animal behavior. This overachiever excelled on the soccer field and the ice hockey rink at the University of Michigan where she started her undergraduate studies. A head injury led her to finishing her undergraduate studies at Rutgers.
Committed to the Community
From the legal community to the San Diego community, Tana makes a difference. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association’s family law and new lawyer’s divisions. In the community, she participates in numerous charity fundraising events as well as rolling up her sleeves in the past for hands-on projects with Habitat for Humanity. Tana maintains a US youth soccer coaching license, so most of her volunteer time now is spent developing the next generation of soccer players and giving her time to make sure PTO events are successful at her local elementary school.
Life After Work
Tana’s drive to learn materializes in her being a globetrotter. One of her personal highlights: a trip to Indonesia to participate in research on coral reefs. She is an active athlete who enjoys everything from snowboarding to soccer. Tana is always in good (well behaved) company with her four-legged friends an English and French bulldog; they get to see her behavioral psychology expertise play out everyday.
