Jamie has always excelled academically, graduating magna cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Strategic Communications and a minor in Business Administration. This native San Diegan always knew she would return home, earning her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. She excelled both inside and outside the classroom, and competed as a member of the Client Advocacy Negotiation Team at the American Bar Association’s National Law Student Negotiation Competition. As a life-long learner, she makes it a priority to stay informed on the ever-evolving legal nuances of family law.

For Jamie Herrick, practicing law starts with connecting with her clients and taking the time to learn what is important to them. With her strong legal knowledge of issues ranging from child custody to spousal support and understanding of the emotional complexities inherent in family law issues, Jamie brings an empathic yet pragmatic approach to solving family law disputes.
Before passing the California Bar, Jamie refined her research and writing skills while working as a law clerk at Moore, Schulman & Moore. Having the opportunity to work on complex projects solidified her dedication to serving families in need of skilled family law lawyers. She is a member of the San Diego Family Law Bar Association and actively seeks out opportunities to build relationships with other attorneys and judges in the legal community.

Jamie married her high school sweetheart, Jake. She enjoys exploring San Diego with him from its trendy restaurants to its numerous beaches and breathtaking sunsets. Their Tijuana rescue dog, Rookie, is usually along for the adventure. You are likely to catch her on the pickleball court or working out at her favorite club during her time away from the office.
