Meet Clayton Grant
Experienced AssociateAbout
Strong Advocate with a Personalized Approach
Clayton Grant is an avid problem solver with a personal touch. He is committed to family law because it allows him to utilize the law to fashion individualized solutions for people who want a strong advocate from the conference room to the courtroom.
For Clayton, being a lawyer means being an advocate for his client’s legal needs but also being a good listener. He prioritizes understanding what is important to the people who trust him with their family law needs. “Many people thought their marriage was going to be their happily ever after. I want them to know there will be life after their divorce. My job is to help boil down the series of problems that need to be solved so they can move on with their lives. I want them to know they have someone in their corner that is fighting to get the best possible outcome for them,” says Moore Schulman and Moore Associate Clayton Grant.
Clayton’s background in criminal and civil law conditioned him to have an eye for the details, to think outside the box and to bring excellence to his work product day in and day out. Having litigated cases from dog bites to multi-million dollar construction defect cases, he is confident in the courtroom but also understands how to bring people together to find common ground.
Committed to His Community
This San Diego native learned the value of service while earning the rare distinction of being an eagle scout (only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank). That commitment to his community continues. He actively gives his time through his church’s children’s ministry and other nonprofits.
Clayton graduated from Regent University School of law but he always knew he wanted to return to the San Diego area to make his forever home. He and his environmental engineer wife enjoy the southern California lifestyle from the mountains to the beaches and hope to one day add a four-legged baby to their family.
